what’s the point if flight tickets are sooooooo expensive, especially to all the destinations mentioned in the video 😏

Flexibility is key. There are also promotions to look for. I scored a round trip from Philadelphia to Bangkok for $528. That kind of price is simply unheard of.

Wish you would’ve mentioned more places in Africa. It was largely ignored with the exception of Cape Town, Morocco and Egypt. It’s one of the largest continents and has some incredibly beautiful natural wonders.

there are 22 countries in the arab world, and the only ones they mentioned were egypt and morocco which can be categorized under african countries (bc of their location obvs). i would’ve loved to hear them talk about an arab country being a good destination considering what outsiders think of the region, but noo

izzy Most Arab countries are labeled with “avoid all travel” or “avoid non-essential travel” advisories. The ones that are safer to travel to still have very strict laws on what behaviors you can display in public, the way women dress, etc. The combination makes people, understandably, uncomfortable at the thought of visiting. I feel like Tunisia is a pretty decent tourist destination – and it was popular among British people until a terrorist killed almost 40 of them in 2015.

I have been visiting to Egypt five or more times and it’s safe there. Especially the area around the Red Sea!
The big cities like Cairo , Luxor or Alexandria are amazing to visit.
All in all you can’t say that this is a save place and this not. 🌴🔆

I love this video but I’m wondering if some of these places are safe for women alone? It’s not the same in other parts of the world

vagabrothers Mostly countries in Central and South America. I tend to get harassed by men from those countries because of my complexion. I’ve also been harassed in China even with guys around. Of course it’s not all men in these countries but just wondering if Central and South American countries are generally safe for women to travel (or a group of women).

nnazery I’m a white British girl and can’t speak for other Latin American countries, but I’ve lived in Colombia alone for 3 months now and never particularly felt unsafe! Yes I stand out and do attract attention from Colombian men, but I’ve never had any harassment except for wolf whistling.

Katie Hughes thanks so much for the input! I really do want to travel to South and Central American countries but my travel buddy is a female friend. Sometimes the same men won’t leave my side and that’s where I get uncomfortable. I’m glad nothing more but the whistling has happened!

      – Watts haha yes those are the most common places for tourists, but I would recommend to also visit the eastern part of The Netherlands like Arnhem, Deventer or Enschede. But Utrecht is also a beautiful city. And I would also recommend to visit one of our little islands (just for the experience and it’s beautiful there)

well Marussia, since cold war is over, and there is no longer CCCP and iron curtain, Poland is no more considered as an Eastern European country, but according to encyclopedia britannica it is central europe.

I am not offended with the Eastern Europe at all, I am aware that many people, including our big neigbour in the west – Germany – call this part of the continent Eastern Europe. But showing the picture of Gdansk was a bit of exaggeration. Like you have noooo idea 😀 Look at this architecture! This has nothing to do with Krakow
