How to travel the world with almost no money | Tomislav Perko | TEDxTUHH

Many people daydream about traveling the world, but all them have the same excuse – absence of loan. Tomislav, after taking a trip the world for many years with nearly no loan, shows how it is possible for everyone to do the exact same, if they really want to.

Tomislav Perko, 29, is a travel writer from Croatia. After a profession of a stockbroker, broke since of the financial crisis, he strikes the road and turns it into his home. He utilizes alternative methods of traveling– hitchhiking, couchsurfing, working/volunteering, and handles to wander around the world with simply a bit of money in his pocket, fulfilling the most remarkable people on the way.

Five years later, he publishes a book “1000 Days of Spring” and walks around giving lectures about exactly what it implies to survive on the road. Discover more on his site:.
